Hope for All

Hope for All is a financial assistance program that functions within our CMH Foundation. This program supports individuals who have been devastated by a cancer diagnosis. Hope for All Program recipients must be an active patient of a Compass Memorial Healthcare primary care provider.

Hope for All

The program began in 2015. It was originally created to provide financial assistance for patients diagnosed with breast cancer. In 2017, the program expanded to support patients diagnosed with any form of cancer.

Applications are reviewed by the hospital’s Foundation Director and Chief Executive Officer. Once approved, patients may receive up to $5,000 in financial assistance. Funds may be used for personal or household expenses incurred during treatment, including mortgage or rent, utilities, transportation, and medical costs. All payments are made directly to the vendor; funds are not distributed to the patient.

Funds for the program are raised through various events in the community, including Lavender Out events at all local schools in the hospital's service area, 4-H club fundraising events, various business fundraising events and ongoing employee and community donations.
