Meals on Wheels
Convenient, Nutritious, and Local
Our Meals on Wheels program makes it easy to enjoy balanced, home-delivered meals. It is ideal for older adults, individuals recovering from illness, or anyone who could use support with daily nutrition. To participate, you must live within Marengo or pick up your meals directly from the hospital.
Affordable and Flexible
- Meals cost $4.50 per meal
- You do not have to have meals every day. You can choose the schedule that works best for you.
- All meals are billed monthly through the Business Office
Delivery Schedule
Meals are delivered Monday through Friday, except on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.If you will not be home on a certain day due to appointments, family plans, or other commitments, please let us know so we can adjust your delivery.
What's Included
Each daily delivery consists of the following:
Hot Meal
- Entrée
- Starch such as rice, noodles, or potatoes
- Hot vegetables
Cold Meal
- Salad
- Dessert
- Beverage
- Bread
